Portfolio Design

My aims when designing the porfolio were to make it seem open and spacious. White space is a useful way of making the page look clean and spacious.

I decided that placing all the portfolio content in the centre of the page and leaving the space either side as a kind of border would make the website more compatible with mobile devices.

The image of the sun setting over the Bristol skyline was sourced from google. Previous to this i had a picture, that i took, of the sky at sunset but the colours didn't fit the mood of the site and also the image was a little boring.

Here is a Wireframe diagram i made for the home page. This is useful when working out where you are going to place your content.
