App Furnace is a Website which allows you to create Mobile Apps with no knowledge of using code. In some ways it is similar to Hotglue. You can drag and drop media onto the screen and re position where ever you wish.

First i planned the navigation. To do this i made a flow diagram. Flow diagrams are useful for making sure that all the pages link between each other in a sensible way. This is important when trying to create a positive user experience.

Before starting to design my application i practiced using App Furnace. There are plenty of different features including a QR code reader and location aware map. I learnt how to link between pages and add points of interest to the map. Another important feature is that you can preview the application. I decided i wanted to make a venue finder application.

The Club Finder App is a geo location aware venue finding application. The key function is that it tells you when you are nearing a venue. When on a venue's page there is a brief description of that venue and a picture of the entrance to the venue. Other features include the "What's Hot" page which gives an overview of some recommended forthcoming events.

Above are some wireframes i made for the Club Finder app. Wireframes help to convey ideas about navigation placement and arrangement of content.
